One of my favorite past times is driving around cruising old country roads. I really enjoy looking for old buildings and barns to photograph. I have 12,000 thousand photos on my iPhone. Old barns and buildings mixed in amongst cherished images of my family.
It’s a little unorthodox, but I believe the old barns and their windows are a glimpse into the building’s soul. Ok, this is not a scene out of a Friday the 13th film. I just feel like old buildings represent the image of a lost living being. A soul neglected, or cherished and cared for. Take a look in the window, take note of what you see. Is it dark and sad, void of any images? Or is there a glimpse of the past in the window? Old cars, signs, or old and forgotten property items. Old roads, old barns, old souls to find!
