Day 14 -Last leg, friends, and family

For the last leg of my journey I traveled from West Yellowstone to Boise, Idaho.

Boise, Idaho is where my beautiful daughter lives, as well as my wonderful friends Megan and Nicole. I spent three days winding down and letting my daughter and her boyfriend Hagen take me and Zeus. They took me to to their favorite places. (Downtown Boise, the greenway, Freak Alley, swimming in the River, the food cart, softball pitching lessons, Mixed Greens). They made me feel at home and took great care of me. I am so proud of them.

I was lucky to spend my last night in Boise with Megan and Nicole, their cute son Cole, and their mother and my good friend Teresa. They are truly special friends!

I departed Boise at 0730 hours and headed to Bend, Oregon. My handsome son and his girl Lorena met me for lunch after my 6 hour drive. Bend, Oregon was mile 2000 of my journey! I am so proud of Jake and Lorena as they signed for a home loan and purchased their very first home in Lapine, Oregon. It was a great celebration lunch!

I feel blessed I made it through my entire journey safe. My friends and family welcomed me and took care of me along the way.

I traveled through (5) States (Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming). A total of 2,165 miles, (2) National Parks, 41 miles of hiking, and ended with biking and sightseeing in Boise.

98 gallons of gas used and totaled $461.53.
