A couple of years ago I moved into a beautiful brand new home. It wasn’t long before I discovered a family of cute little tree frogs living around the front porch. 🐸 I could hear them croak every evening. It totally reminded me of living in the country. Even the grandkids and grand nieces and nephews loved them. I noticed they took up residency behind my patriotic wooden pallet flag which I have proudly installed on the wall of my front porch.

One day my grandson stayed the weekend and asked me if we could catch frogs together. I removed the pallet flag and found (3) cute little frogs…along with several small cylindrical brown/black pieces of POOP!! It was all over the back of the pallet flag and on the house siding!!

After I discovered the frog log pile, I noticed the same logs were all over the front porch! On the wall, on the rock wall, it was everywhere. Which is why I have to wash down the front porch and walls several times a week. I really laugh at myself because before I knew there were “frog logs” it didn’t bother me. I didn’t even notice them. I actually had no idea frogs actually pooped!!

Now….I can’t go out the front door without seeing them! I’m thinking of putting out small snack size zip lock baggies with a small sign with instructions about bagging the logs. Maybe a small miniature toilet or portable potty? Maybe one of those NO 💩POOP ZONE signs? 😂😂
