We all have our own bucket lists. They are composed of those day dreams we all had while we were living the grind.
Most people never put them to ink. In fact, most people forget all about them.
Well, it’s time for me to start checking them off. I recently retired from a 31 year career as a public servant. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of society.
I am living my best life. This year was the year of the “yes”. I vowed to say “yes” to every friend invitation to socialize, travel, and to recreate. The year has not been a disappointment!
Too many people dream and put off checking off their lists. Everyone says, “someday I’m going to….,” but they never get around to it. I get it. Life happens.
I retired 11 months ago…I’ve lost 5 work friends who retired before me in those 11 months. Rest In Peace my friends!
People! GET BUSY LIVING! Tomorrow is never promised.
